Main access to the Chalet

Access to the chalet is via the “Mountain-Room”:

  • Ski-room in winter: to deposit ski boots, skis and snowshoes. It is strictly forbidden to enter the chalet with your ski boots and/or outdoor equipment (bicycles, snowshoes, skis, etc.).
  • Bike-Center in summer: Outside the entrance you have a washing station for your bikes and your muddy shoes. You can then place your own bikes inside in the spaces provided for this purpose. Your hiking shoes, your poles and more generally all your sports equipment must be placed in the spaces provided for this purpose in this room.
    Please leave your dirty outdoor shoes in the mountain-room. Shoes full of mud are forbidden inside the chalet… nothing like walking around in the chalet in slippers for your comfort and for more cleanliness!

Television

All televisions are connected

  • French channels: Open the ORANGE application on the TV
  • International channels: Open the SAMSUNG application on the TV
  • VOD: Open the NETFLIX application on the TV in the living room or on the mezzanine

Music

  • Music in the Fénil: Open the SONOS 1 application on your mobile
  • Music in Billiards: Open the SONOS 1 application on your mobile
  • Music in the Fitness: Open the SONOS 2 application or connect to BLUETOOTH

NB: Your phone may need to be paired with the sonos-connect. Please let the manager know.

Animals

Your animals are welcome with prior authorization and provided that you respect a few rules; animals are not allowed on all the furniture (bed, sofa, armchair, etc.), nor in the wellness areas (SPA, Swimming pool, Sauna, Fitness). Any droppings in the garden should be picked up and cleaned up.
It is forbidden to leave a domestic animal (dogs, cats, etc.) alone free in the chalet during the day and at night during your excursions, activities and outdoor trips.
Please let the animals sleep in the basement area (laundry room – hall) making sure to put in place the staircase barrier to limit access to the floors at night (pink area on the map)

Household waste

The containers are located 550m from the chalet according to the attached map

You will find three types of containers: brown for household waste, yellow for recycling and green for glass (such as: glass bottles, perfume and cosmetic bottles, and jars. Be careful not to remove light bulbs, leftover dishes and broken glass).

Security – Keys

In the event of loss of one or more keys to the chalet, we will then be obliged to replace all the keys and locks of the chalet at your expense. We are not legally responsible in the event of theft or break-in during your stay. Please make sure to close all access to the chalet when you leave the premises (windows, bay windows, doors).

Video surveillance

For the security of the chalet, it is equipped with a video surveillance system only for the private exterior surroundings, excluding the public thoroughfare. No CCTV is installed inside the cottage.

Fire safety

For your safety, there are carbon monoxide and smoke detectors in the chalet. You will also find on each floor of the chalet fire extinguishers in case of fire

Rules of life

Thank you for respecting the calm of the neighborhood for the tranquility of the neighborhood.
It is strictly forbidden to smoke in the chalet, it is equipped with smoke detectors.

Electricity

The electrical panel is in the hall cupboard on level N-1.

Lighting

Please be sure to turn off all interior and exterior lights when not needed. The lights in the hallways, the laundry room as well as the toilets in the basement and the living room are programmed on motion detectors, so they turn off on their own. The exterior lights are programmed on a daily clock and also light up on a motion detector.
The lighting of the outdoor SPA area and the outdoor dining table are on order

Heating

The heating of the house is supplied with gas, and diffuses on the ground. Each room is equipped with an electronic thermostat which is easy to use in automatic mode or off.
In automatic mode, all you have to do is indicate the temperature target you want to reach.

Laundry room

This is located at level -1. A washing machine, a dryer, a drying rack, an iron and its table are at your disposal.

Depending on the product used, please check whether the tablet packaging should be removed.

Clothes dryer

After each use remember to empty the water collection containers & filters

Dining room & kitchen

Instructions for use of household appliances are available in the drawer located in the sideboard in the dining room.
Some advice on the primary operation of household appliances

  • The toaster: the grill level is adjusted with the cursor and the start with the button on the right (illuminated in the photograph). When the bread is toasted to the desired intensity, it comes out automatically. If the latter is not removed, it will be back in the machine to be kept warm automatically
  • The induction hob and its integrated hood

The 4 slots of the induction hob are controlled from the left side: just turn on the hob by pressing the button , then select a hob and set the heating intensity using the + and – buttons
The hood is controlled from the right side by pressing button and adjusting its power using the + and – buttons. In the event of a fault in the hood, simply keep the button pressed.
Make sure to protect the wooden table as well as the kitchen worktops with trivets and/or table mats.
Do not cut on work surfaces, bar counters or tables. Use cutting boards.
Clean the hob after each use.

  • Raclette – Hot stone appliances: 2 appliances are available in the kitchen
  • Fondue sets: 2 saucepans are available to you, we offer you the first burners for your 1st fondue!
  • Refrigerator: You have 2 refrigerators at your disposal so as not to run out of space
  • Freezer: You benefit from 2 freezer compartments, you will find an ice machine for your best cocktails!
  • Dishwasher: 2 dishwashers are available to you. The products inherent to their maintenance are located under the sink.
  • Ovens: You have at your disposal: 1 oven of 90cm under plan, 1 oven of 60cm in the column which is also a steam oven and 1 microwave oven in the same column. Their notices are located in the first drawer of the sideboard.
  • The tables in the dining room are made of fragile wood despite the vitrification: Please do not place hot pans or hot dishes directly on the wood. Please also pay close attention to oil stains. Trivets are available in the kitchen.

Bathroom & toilet

The heated towel rails are provided only for drying the chalet’s terry towels.
They are set to heat in the morning and late afternoon
It is forbidden to touch the settings of the towel rails. For any request please contact the manager.
Please throw your sanitary pads in the trash and not in the toilets.
Hairdryers are available in each bathroom

Pool

The pool is a self-regulating filtration pool. It is checked regularly. Its coating is in reinforced PVC which is a fragile structure that does not support tearing or crushing under heavy objects. Its temperature is set at 27°C in winter and 24°C in summer. The depth is homogeneous at 1m50, not allowing diving. It is equipped with a swimming motor (see paragraph)

POOL RULES

You must comply with the following instructions:

  • You must take a shower before entering the pool
  • Do not run around the pool
  • Do not dive into the pool
  • Do not leave children under 18 unattended
  • The rolling shutter: it will be open during your stay. CAUTION, the roller shutter is in no way a safety device against falls and drowning.
  • WATER LINE: the water level of the swimming pool must absolutely be maintained, at the risk of deactivating the filtration pump and causing a malfunction of the travel of the roller shutter. The pool should be filled with the garden hose when the water line is not reached and after using the swimming motor. Please notify the manager if there is a problem.
  • POOL SECURITY: During periods without adult supervision, the wellness area including the swimming pool must be locked, as well as the bay windows and exterior door so as not to give free access to children. This is the only regulatory option for securing the swimming pool.
  • Do not consume food, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and drugs around and inside the pool
  • Do not shout and put on loud music with the window open, to respect the tranquility of the neighbors
  • Do not urinate in the pool
  • The swimming pool is forbidden to pets (dogs, cats, etc.)

The swimming motor

It is professional and very powerful equipment. It is for sporting use only to swim against the current. It is not suitable for beginner swimmers.
If misused, there is a risk of drowning.
Its use is prohibited for children.
It is forbidden to cling to the engine or to enter any limb (foot, hand, etc.) inside.
Its operation is simple using a remote control: 1 ignition button, then adjust the power using the up-down arrows. The engine power is indicated on the meter above the technical room door: 0 = no power; 100 = maximum power. For information, a beginner swimmer is around 40%. In case of loss of the remote control, it will be directly invoiced to you.

SPA Storvatt

Systematically fill the pool up to the water line after using the motor using the exterior water jet. The temperature at 38.5°C and the quality of the water are regularly checked. Its use should not exceed 20 minutes per session.

Use:

  • The whirlpool is triggered using the JETS 1 button, and it turns off by pressing it again.
  • Be sure to reposition the cover by carefully closing the fasteners as soon as you leave the SPA. It is used to keep the water temperature level and also safety to prevent falls.

Do not hesitate to ask the chalet manager if you have any questions about the use of the SPA

SPA RULES

In the event of an anomaly and/or malfunction of the SPA, it is advisable to contact our manager.
Access to the SPA is prohibited:

  • Pregnant women,
  • For children under 12 years old
  • For diabetics and people with heart and vascular problems,

  • Have a decent bathing outfit (swimsuit) and avoid wearing boxer shorts or panties.

The use of objects (camera, glasses, etc.) and the wearing of jewelry in the SPA is strongly discouraged.
Beware of drowning: heat reinforces the effects of drugs and alcohol and can cause you to lose consciousness. Get out immediately if you feel tired or sleepy.
Beware of the risk of dehydration if you exceed the recommended duration of use.
You use the SPA under your responsibility: in the event of damage to the equipment following non-compliance with the rules in force, the repairs of the damage will be the responsibility of the users.

The Sauna

It is a traditional sauna or Finnish sauna, where the interior cabin is made of Alder wood with its benches also made of wood. It is planned for 1 to 7 people for a maximum duration of 15 minutes at each session. It is used using a control outside the Sauna.

It is equipped with an air inlet and an air outlet. The air circulation then creates a natural convection effect, i.e. a renewal of the air inside the sauna. This convection makes it possible to form temperature zones. The heat will not be the same depending on where you are in the sauna.

On average, temperatures vary between approximately 60°C and 100°C. But the closer you get to the ceiling, the higher the temperature.

  • In height, the temperature is generally between 90°C and 100°C
  • On the benches, in the middle of the room, the temperature is between 65°C and 75°C
  • On the ground, the temperature is generally around 40°C or 50°C

SAUNA RULES

Access to the sauna is prohibited:

  • Pregnant women
  • For children under 12 years old
  • For diabetics and people with heart and vascular problems,
  • To people who have wounds or who have undergone an operation.
  • Pets (dogs, cats, etc.)

Beware of water vapor splashes when watering the lava stones, which can lead to the risk of burns.

Be careful not to touch the glass surfaces which rise in temperature during lighting, which could lead to the risk of burns.

For hygienic reasons, please use a towel on the wooden benches in the sauna.
When leaving, it is strongly recommended to drink plenty of water.
The use and consumption of food, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and drugs are prohibited inside the sauna.
The use of objects (camera, glasses, etc.) and the wearing of jewelry in the SPA is strongly discouraged.
You must take a shower before going to the sauna.
You must switch off the sauna when not in use.
In the event of damage to the equipment, the repairs of the damage will be the responsibility of the users.

Chimney

This is an insert fireplace with 3 suspended glazed sides. The insert lowers automatically so as not to allow the creation of an open fire. The glass sides of the fireplace insert must be kept closed during use.

Be careful not to touch the glass surfaces at the risk of burning yourself.

Watch out for flying sparks on the wooden floor.
Do not leave the fireplace in operation unsupervised.
Use wood fire starters!
You will find the firewood on the kitchen terrace

The fireplace is very hot when in operation! Don’t put your hands on it.

To empty your ashes, wait for them to cool down before throwing them away. A specific ash vacuum cleaner is provided for this purpose. It is stored in the pantry of the kitchen.

It is strictly forbidden to use the fireplace during the summer.

Billiard

You have at your disposal a quality billiard table from the Brunswick brand. It is an American Billiard table.

INTERNAL RULES OF BILLIARDS

You must comply with the following instructions:

  • Do not let children under 18 play unaccompanied
  • Store cues, balls, chalks after each use
  • Handle the tails delicately, be careful not to hit the suspended lamp post.
  • Do not consume food, alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, cigarettes and drugs around the pool table
  • Do not put anything on the pool table
  • Do not walk or climb on the pool table
  • Do not lie down on the pool table
  • Do not damage the billiard cloth

In the event of damage to the equipment, the repairs of the damage will be the responsibility of the users.

Board games

We provide you with various board games. Thank you for respecting their proper use and making sure to store them without omitting any parts! Any lost tokens, dice or cards will be to the detriment of future users. hank you for being respectful of the good conservation of these.

Snow removal

A snow removal company is responsible for clearing the paths and roads leading to the chalet. Thank you for facilitating their passage by moving your vehicles as well as possible. now shovels are available to clear residual snow in order to prevent the formation of ice.

Terrace

Remember to close the parasols after each use as well as the chair and garden furniture cushions in the event of bad weather, especially when it is windy.

Griddle

Remember to clean it imperatively after each use: when the plate is cool, use water (beware of water vapours) and a squeegee to clean the surface. After complete cooling, pass sunflower oil on the surface.

Mezzanine

The Mezzanine is an isolated and cramped place. You will find a TV, with a game console that also serves as a DVD player and a comfortable sofa. Please respect a few rules:

  • Do not eat or drink on the couch.
  • Be careful not to hit the frame. Some beams are below 1m80 in height.
  • Do not leave the VELUX open in the event of snow on the roof or bad weather, water could penetrate with a risk of damage to the sofa.
  • Do not leave children unattended

Eco Points

The rubbish bins

We recommend that you organize the sorting of household waste, for this purpose 2 large bins are available in the kitchen to separate food from cardboard/plastic. Glass bottles can be set aside.

Linens

Please keep your bathroom towels and pool towels as best you can. Towel dryers are available in each bathroom to avoid untimely and polluting washes.

Electricity

All of the lighting in the chalet is in LED technology, which consumes less energy, and certain areas of frequent passage are on motion detectors with timers in order to reduce energy consumption.

Cleaning products

We provide you with certain biodegradable products for home maintenance.

Heating

The chalet has excellent insulation, when the desired temperature is reached we recommend that you turn off the thermostats of the heated areas (“away” mode), especially in the living room if you have used the fireplace and/or if the sun has come in during the day.
In the bedrooms, if you force the towel dryer in the bathrooms too much, the temperature variation will be felt in the room.
